How many family members can share one account?
The Family / Pro plan supports up to 5 user accounts. Corporate Pro supports up to 25, which covers extended families or households with staff.
Can each family member see only their own documents?
Yes. Each user account has its own private space. The account owner can also create shared folders for documents the whole family needs access to.
What is emergency access?
Emergency access lets you designate a trusted person — a spouse, sibling, or lawyer — who can request access to your vault. You receive a notification and can approve or deny the request.
Is it safe to store children's documents?
Yes. All documents are encrypted end-to-end with AES-256. Only account holders with the correct credentials can access the files — our team cannot.
Can I get notified when a family member's passport is expiring?
Yes. EverDocs sends expiry reminders for every document in your vault, across all accounts on your plan, well in advance of the expiry date.
